Saheli

Project SAHELI, in partnership with Nua, and BMC, improved menstrual hygiene for 30,000 women in Navi Mumbai and Greater Mumbai. We distributed 600,000 pads and additional dignity kits, significantly enhancing access to menstrual health and dignity in underserved communities.

Fashion Forward Fellowship

The Fashion Forward Fellowship, launched in India by YWater, aims to promote water stewardship in fashion. The program seeks to raise awareness about water conservation in the fashion industry and integrate water stewardship into emerging designers’ careers.

Building Workshops

YWater’s workshops for building societies used a gamified approach to promote water conservation, turning it into a competitive activity among households. This innovative format saved 100,000 litres of water across four workshops, demonstrating how engaging methods can effectively drive community-driven water-saving actions.

Town Halls

YWater and Global Shapers Mumbai held eight workshops in schools, educating nearly 500 students about water scarcity and its global impacts. Interactive simulations highlighted water’s importance and encouraged local action, aiming to empower youth to advocate for sustainable water practices and conservation efforts.

Youth Assembly

YWater, as the Impact Facilitator for South Asia, mentored 217 delegates in the 22nd and 23rd sessions of the Youth Assembly. We provided essential guidance on effective advocacy and sustainable development, empowering young leaders to tackle regional challenges
